It's been ten years.....almost....since Joe Strummer died, time goes so quick. For all our array of influences, Joe Strummer is at the core. Not just the music but his worldview, his passion, his compassion, his love of people and particular those struggling in the nooks and dark places. I read The Guardian today about the plight of those about to be hammered by those Dickensian policies forcing the disabled to work for their benefits. It's shameful. I'm pretty sure Joe would have been saying something about it. That's what I miss, he forced you to look behind the curtain in those nooks and dark places, to challenge you to give uncomfortable things thinking time and to start shouting out about it. If ever there was a time we need a Strummer it's now. So, we thought that we'd mark those ten years since he passed to the Palais in the sky, with a tribute tune. We call it 'Strummeration', we hope you like it. God bless Joe, the inspiration never stops....

The Fall and Fall are Adam Yates and Paul Turner. Adam does the production, sorts out the beats, creates tunes and backing tracks. Paul does the vocals, plays most of the instruments which are predominantly guitar, bass and keyboards. Sometimes they demo stuff separately and then work up the end result but equally stuff is created from scratch as ideas get developed in the studio. ... more
